Two layers of differently colored raw materials are extruded together, allowing the colors of both sides to show through slightly, giving the reversible colors a depth that only Japanese paper can offer.
Although the paper has a fibrous feel typical of Japanese paper, it is smoother than it looks, with little blurring, making it comfortable to write on.
